Issues when using two screens with different DPI scaling on 21.10

mx flag

I have a laptop with a 4k display, running at 200% scaling. When connecting an external 4k screen without scaling (ie. 100%), things don't work very well. If I move a window from the laptop to the external screen, it maintains the 200% scaling, and vice versa. That's not what I want - the external display is double the size of the laptop screen, and therefore I want to maintain the scaling as set up for individual screen, rather than the "original" scaling. In Windows, this works exactly as I intended by default.

Is what I experience some kind of glitch, or is that normal? If so, how can I fix it?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
