Rename applications in volume control

cn flag

I want to rename the applications' displayed name in volume control (e.g. MS Teams shows up as "Skype"). Is there any way to achieve this?

The output of "pacmd list-source-outputs" makes me think that I should change the property "application.name" (which shows the "wrong" name that PulseAudio seems to use) to match with the property "application.process.binary" (which is what I want it to display) with some custom rules but I have no idea how to do that.

I think that is related to renaming in the applications menu, not in volume control. In applications menu things work just fine.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
