If you've installed Ubuntu to an installed drive in your machine, you won't need your installation media anymore. On completion of your installation, you should have been asked to remove media & reboot (*where you don't need the installation media again*)

Does this answer your question? [When to remove the pendrive after installing Ubuntu?](https://askubuntu.com/questions/302833/when-to-remove-the-pendrive-after-installing-ubuntu)

In my first comment I mentioned "*should have been asked to remove media & reboot*"... that wording was intentional as you didn't provide release details. There have been releases where certain screen resolutions & ISOs don't display the message (*it's off-screen*), but warnings of that were found in the release notes for releases where that applies (*it only impacted people with specific resolution screens that are no longer widely used*). The wording on the message also varies on release.

If the bootloader is put on the wrong partition when installing using "Something else", it may be necessary to plug in the installer ISO when booting.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
