Missing dependency for installing Wine: Hirsute/Focal mixup?

th flag

I'm on Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS and trying to install WineHQ using the instructions on the official website: https://wiki.winehq.org/Ubuntu

tb@tb-Legion-Y540-17IRH:~$ sudo add-apt-repository 'deb https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/ focal main'
[sudo] password for tb:
Hit:1 http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu focal InRelease
Hit:2 http://se.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu focal InRelease
Hit:3 http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu focal-security InRelease
Hit:4 http://se.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu focal-updates InRelease
Hit:5 http://se.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu focal-backports InRelease
Hit:6 https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu focal InRelease
Hit:7 https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu hirsute InRelease

Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS is called Focal, while Hirsute refers to Ubuntu 21.04 (which I do NOT have). Notice that the seventh and last Hit is the only one that is for hirsute. I only care because of the error that comes in the next step:

tb@tb-Legion-Y540-17IRH:~$ sudo apt install --install-recommends winehq-stable

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 winehq-stable : Depends: wine-stable (= 6.0.2~hirsute-1)
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

The missing dependency seems to refer to something that's connected to Hirsute, which is a version of Ubuntu I don't have.

What's wrong and how do I fix it?

Best regards, a non-coder who needs one Windows application for work

Do you have a specific need for a version of wine more advanced than the one in the official Ubuntu 20.04 repos?

Why do you mix hirsute with focal?

If you read my question again, you'll notice that I'm following the instructions to install for Focal, not for Hirsute, because I don't need a version of wine more advanced than the one in the official Ubuntu 20.04 repos. I didn't request anything relating to Hirsute when installing, so I'm not attempting to mix hirsute with focal. But hirsute is in the error message, which is why I mention it.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
