If anyone can give me a next step or if a better option exists. Here is my progress using GNU ddrescue 1.23 I have no idea if the img file is trash or what to do next maybe chkdisk? It should be a fat32 256G usb stick I never changed or formatted.

Are you trying recover the content of your usb stick?

Yes even if I have to buy one of those recovery software programs Id like to to restore the files. I'll never trust a flash drive ever again. I can make a second copy of the image file and just try random efforts to see what works.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
