I’ve been at this for a while now waiting for the release of kernel 5.15 to release to reinstall ubuntu 20.04 and test the kernel to see if it resolves the no sound issue I have over HDMI.

I run pavucontrol
and can see HDMI devices, I click the test sound, and see the sound monitor line move in the sink, indicating the system responds, however no sound comes out the soundbar.
I've tried the usual rm *
of the pulseaudio files and pulseaudio -k
.
Any other ideas to try to get sound?
