Two external monitors show up in xrandr and in display dialog, but only one can be enabled

cn flag

Today I switched my USB-C dock and now I am experiencing interesting issues on my Tuxedo Notebook with Kubuntu 20.04.

I have two display connected to my laptop via the USB-C dock. Although both displays show up in xrandr (see below) and in the Display Dialog, only one of them can be enabled.

I can enable one or the other, but not both. If I switch both displays to "Enabled" in the dialog, that is not saved and when I re-open the dialog the second monitor is still not enabled.

I was unable to find anything similar in the forum. I tried adjusting the resolution as well as the refresh rate of the monitors, but that did not change anything.

I have a second Tuxedo Laptop (for work) which also runs Kubuntu 20.04 and that one connects via the exact same setup without issues...

Also with my previous USB-C dock and display, both laptops worked in this setup without issues.

Any hint into the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
