Ubuntu 21.10 Stuck on "Updates and other software" during install

lv flag

I wan't to install Ubuntu alongside with Windows 10. I have Windows 10 pre-installed on my PC. When I ran the installer for the first time, it worked perfectly fine. When I resized the Ubuntu partition to the size so Ubuntu could fit in with reasonable amount of free storage, I got kicked out to the previous page and the "Continue" button was locked. I went back to the "Updates and other software" page, but then I got stuck when I clicked "Continue". It won't let me further. It's loading forever. When I clicked "Try Ubuntu" I ran GParted, and I saw a corrupted partition. I deleted it and it's still stuck. Can anyone help me with this problem?

So you used _gparted_ to resize first the filesystem, then the partition? Or did you use some Windows tool for that? Please edit your question accordingly.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
