can't boot ubuntu, "gave up waiting for root file system device"

cn flag

Just installed Ubuntu 21.10, however when trying to boot i get this error:

" Gave up waiting for root file system device. Common problems:

  • Boot args (cat /proc/cmdline)
  • Check rootdelay= (did the system wait long enough?)
  • Missing modules (cat /proc/modules: ls /dev) ALERT! /dev/sda2 does not exist. Dropping to a shell!

BusyBox v1.30.1 (Ubuntu 1:1.30.1-6ubuntu3) built-in shell (ash) Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.

(initramfs)_ "

I have already tried googling this error and i thought i found a solution but nothing did work.

For context - sda2 is my hdd's partition where ext4 filesystem is stored (or at least should be).

Please help :)

Boot a live session and check the partition for errors after confirming the correct boot entry is still selected at UEFI > Boot.

It's the exact same "Try Ubuntu" session that likely you used before starting the installation.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
