/boot/firmware still on SD Card after SSD upgrade on Raspberry Pi 4

in flag

I'm using a Raspberry Pi 4 (4G) and Ubuntu 21.04 to run a Foundry VTT server.

I recently upgraded the storage from an SD Card to an SSD. As long as the SD Card is still in, I can boot. The /boot/firmware folder is mounted on the SD Card, while / is mounted on the SSD. Everything seems to be working. If I remove the SD Card the system does not boot.

I used this guide to do the switch: https://medium.com/xster-tech/move-your ... e99723f07b

Any suggestions on how to load the /boot/firmware from the SSD?

Thanks!

Turns out the SSD enclosure I was using is known to have boot issues. I will be replacing it and will try again.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
