gimp no longer starts: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module"

What happened to my gimp?

$ dpkg --list | grep gimp

This is on an up-to-date Ubuntu 21.10

And the Canberra module seems to be installed just fine:

Please run `sudo apt install libcanberra-gtk-module libcanberra-gtk3-module` and the restart GIMP.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking.
