Second monitor only detected on boot

so flag

I've been having a few doubts on my dual monitor setup. Problem is, my second monitor is only detected and functional when it is turned on on boot. If the second display is turned off when I boot and reach login on ubuntu, I can't get it to be detected in any way.

It does not appear on the display section of setting, nor on nvidia X server, not even when clicking detect displays.

I mostly want some way to turn on or off the display without having to reboot my system.

Notes:

sudo lshw -C display

The second monitor that is giving me problems is an LED tv model AOC L19W931. I am currently using Nvidia drivers 470 on my GTX1060. Thanks in advance!

Small edit Forgot to mention this I'm running Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
