Apps installed via snap not working properly in ubuntu 21.10

fr flag

Hi!

I am fairly new to Ubuntu and just upgraded from 21.04 to 21.10 and really love the update. I installed postman and beekeeper yesterday so I can fully work offline at home doing back end stuffs and I am right now stuck looking for a solution to fix the missing icons or (I don't know) maybe they are just texts not rendering properly in this new version. Never encountered something like this in 21.04 and it seems frustrating because I have never done anything yet and worst is I need to press one of those options and I don't know which one is it. Below are the screenshots I just took.

beekeeper

postman

I have tried reinstalling the adwaita-icon-theme, reboot but it did not work. I also tried installing gnome-tweak-tool but no candidate is available in 21.10. Sorry if I could not take a deeper dive in the internet right now since we are currently experiencing a really slow connection in our area due to the impact of typhoon (Odette).

Thank you!

FYI: Snap packages are the same for all releases; so a *snap* package that runs on 16.04, runs on 21.04 & 21.10; ie. there was no *snap* package upgrade; your system underneath the *snap* has changed thus it's the issue.. I agree with @vanadium's duplicate Also try `apt install gnome-tweaks` (not `gnome-tweak-tool`)

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
