Losing filesystem after creating a partition with fdisk

in flag

I created a partition with fdisk and after writing the change to the disk and reboot, I got stuck at Grub and lost my filesystem on the disk. What happened and do I have the chance to backup my data ?

Backups are done *before* situations like this. RE: What happened we don't and can't know. We can only speculate that you created a partition on the existing ones instead of alongside (after).

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
