F1 2021 not opening

us flag

I've installed F1 2021 on steam (to play it i use steamplay's proton), but it doesn't open. The steam pop-up appears, it says "starting" and then nothing happens, and i can just click the open button again. Also something very weird happens when i restart the computer, the game would say it's not installed until i go to the file manager and click on the hdd the game is installed on, and then the play button appears. Any ideas?

Proton: (Tried on) 6.3-8; 7.0rc3-Ge-1. CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700 GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti RAM: 2 x Corsair Vengeance LPX 8 GB Drives: 1 x 120Gb i don't know the brand SSD 2 x 1TB WDC Blue HDD Ubuntu Version: 21.04

Two issues here but totally unrelated. (1) Not all games work with Proton/Wine. (2) Partition have to be mounted before they are accessed. Yours isn't mounted at boot time therefore opening it in the file manager is what mounts it. It can be configured to be mounted at boot so you don't have to click it.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
