Sleep mode crashes the computer

br flag

I've recently installed Kubuntu 20.04 on my old computer (CPU: Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU G3250 @ 3.20GHz). All works properly except for the sleep mode: when I try to use it the monitor turns off but not the fans and I'm unable to revive the machine so I'm forced to shut it down with the on/off button on the case. I don't think it's an hardware issue as I was using windows8.1 before and it never gave me this problem. Could it be a driver problem?

You may need to edit **carefully** your grub. Take a look at this fix: https://askubuntu.com/a/1172268/1194692

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
