I have storage partion on my dual boot laptop but its read only, how can I make it read and write?

in flag

Before I had windows 7 and ubuntu on one laptop. My friend installed it for me where storage partition was NTFS and I was able to read/write files from both system while in windows or linux. Now I have windows 10 and ubuntu as dual boot and the storage partition is /dev/sda5 but its read only and I am unable to save files to it, its ntfs.

Is there way to make this partition write files and not only read? added gparted screenshot.

Tried this post, but it didn't help how to make partition read and write instead of read-only?

Any help appreciated, Paul

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
