I'm running gnome-shell 40.5 on Ubuntu 21.10.
chrome-gnome-shell is already the newest version (10.1-5)
Several times/day, I cannot switch windows. I can switch workspaces. The applications bar on the left turns into a square with 9 dots in it.
If I hit "ALT-f2 r", then I get the desktop functionality back.
I have no idea what's triggering it. Sometimes it's when I open my laptop's lid. Sometimes it's when I'm doing something in a window. Often it's when I come back to the computer and I find that I can't switch windows.
Any idea what to look for to track this down?
