Need X-mouse button control for ubuntu

cn flag

So, I'm not much of a technical guy when it comes to Linux, and recently I wanted a software X-mouse button control for a specific change and a key remapping, knowing that I tried a windows 7 VM and tried it on there, worked perfectly fine. Ubuntu, on the other hand, does not have the software natively, it is a windows program, so I have been trying alternatives for 3 days but none of them seem to work and eventually tried running it through wine, did run but changes were not made to my actual ubuntu and I wanted to know if there is a way that I can run X mouse button control on my machine or do I have to find an alternative because stuff like "btnx", "easystroke" just don't work the changes I need to make are Debounce time set to - 1ms Left mouse button remapped to - Double click (both can easily be done in X mouse button control)

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
