Browsers: Ctl-F (find TEXT)

cn flag

When we search TEXT in the page just displayed and this TEXT is found:

(Two different background colors are employed to distinguish the current one from all the others found in the page. The foreground color turns white on all ocurrences)

Can we select or define other background colors? (Facilitating peruse) Where they are configured? We have access? (Perhaps about:config)

My question is only on the colors the browser use to show the TEXT occurrences across the page, ok?

edit: I'm using waterfox G3.2.6 (64-bit).

Thanks all the attention...

It would depend on the browser. The Vivaldi browser is very customizable, so it might let you pick. But you probably would have to compile your chosen browser from the source, as it isn't typically changeable without modifying the source.

Which browser(s) are you using?

I don't really see how this is an Ubuntu topic, maybe you should ask this on Firefox or Waterfox developers. Maybe you can set the colors in a theme.

I'm using waterfox G3.2.6 (64-bit) and think that's one case for customization open to the user of every browser...But that is my mistake it seems.. thanks @pLumo

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
