'minimize-or-previews' Dash to Dock click-action does not work properly on Ubuntu 21.10

I'm using Ubuntu 21.10 with GNOME Shell 40.5. I'd like to customize the Dock. Then, I open dconf Editor and go in "/org/gnome/shell/extension/dash-to-dock/". I've tried different values for the click-action but some do not work as expected. For example, 'previews' and 'minimize-or-previews' do not show any previews. Oddly, 'focus-minimize-or-previews' works fine. However, I'd prefer 'minimize-or-previews'.

If I use command line, such as the one below, it has no effect. I supposed this would change the value I see in dconf Editor. Isn't that what we should expect?

gsettings set org.gnome.shell.extensions.dash-to-dock click-action 'previews'

Note also that if apply-custom-theme is 'False', the favorite application icons disappear from the Dock...

Many thanks for your help!

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
