Completely remove the lubuntu lxqt desktop after installing XFCE and Xubuntu-desktop

vn flag

So I followed this tutorial and installed Xfce4 and Xubuntu-desktop on my Lubuntu machine. https://itsfoss.com/install-xfce-desktop-xubuntu/ After this I started facing a problem with the lockscreen. After long sleep the Xfce lockscreen comes up where you cant enter the password and if you switch it goes to the Lubuntu lock screen where you enter the password and again come back to the Xfce lockscreen. You have no option but to restart the machine. So I also removed the Lubuntu-desktop package. Still the problem persists. How do I completely remove the Lubuntu desktop environment along with all the associated softwares plus the login screen. Thanks a lot in advance. This would help many Ubuntu users who are switching desktop environments.

Switching desktop environments on an installed system can get messy. A DE involves dozens of interworking packages. Some of these packages are shared with other DEs who use them differently. The unpleasantness of changing a DE is the entire reason that Ubuntu spends all of the effort to create so many official flavours. Flavours exist for the many users who want to switch desktop environments without unnecessary complications. The best path is to cleanly install the version and flavour of Ubuntu that contains the DE that you want to use.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
