Trash location unlinked from /home/username/.local/share/Trash and no icon on Desktop

cn flag

As pointed out in the title I can no more interact with the Trash using the graphical interface. Indeed when I go to the Trash with the nautilus GUI I get the following message

This location could not be displayed.

Sorry, could not display all the contents of "trash:///": Operation not supported.

"trash:///"

At the same time if I delete something it does not get moved to this graphical trash, but, correclty to /home/username/.local/share/Trash, then I'm not able to empty it from GUI.

Moreover gnome-tweaks get bugged when i activate the option Desktop Icon, so that if i select only "show personal folder on desktop" i see correclty the home directory enter image description here while if I select also the trash icon everything disappears enter image description here

I feel the two problems are linked, something must have been messed up with trash folder. Also when i run uname -a I get a very strange behaviour I haven't noticed before:

:~$ uname -a

What is going on? Is my system broken or what?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
