Installed Ubuntu server on azure, crashes when i RDP into it

no flag

I have installed a ubuntu server vm on microsoft azure. I chose lightdm when installing xfce4. The tutorials don't say which one to choose. I executed these commands:

sudo apt-get -y install xfce4
sudo apt-get -y install xrdp
sudo systemctl enable xrdp
echo xfce4-session >~/.xsession
sudo service xrdp restart

When I try to RDP into it, with a windows client, I get the xrdp screen. I type in incorrect login and I get a window pop up. i type in correct login and it crashes. Why does it crash and how can I fix this? Do I still need to install?

Without knowing why the system is crashing, it will be difficult to offer an answer. If you are able to login, the `/var/log/syslog` file should explain why there was a crash. With that information, it may be possible to offer a solution

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
