Installation of a system on a new disc from the desktop of an old disc without booting

I have no way in my laptop to enter uefi boot I have no laptop screen but monitor so when I turn on there is a black screen. so how to install from desktop position hdd drive to new ssd drive and then set it as head drive (easiest way to remove old one from laptop but how else?)

ubuntu 20.04 or Fedora 35 it doesn't matter everything goes through the bios from what I checked my laptop doesn't have uefi support but what does it matter Unetbootin works the same way when I select it I get a black screen

Your last comment makes little to no sense. This is very simple: If you need access to the firmware settings (BIOS or UEFI) then you need a working monitor. You may or may not be able to toggle image to both or external only with a key combo (typical FN + some F key). If it doesn't work for the firmware settings or it doesn't have said functionality then there's nothing else to discuss, fix the internal monitor or forget about it. NOT an Ubuntu problem/question.
