How to phisically disable a stuck key

sr flag

one of my keys was stuck and the first think was remapping it so it wouldn't bother me. I followed the steps of this post and and managed to fix it.

But then I noticed that I didn't DISABLE the key, I only REMAPPED it, so some functions like repeated del/supr on my keyboard don't work, and I wanted to know if you can physically disable a key in the same way you can disable the keyboard using xinput float <id>.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to AskUbuntu, to me, a simple brain person; the simplest solution is to pull the key cap off from the board.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
