SHIFT not working properly in some shortcut combinations

gp flag

I'm on Ubuntu 20.04.

SHIFT button is not working properly when used in some shortcut combinations like:

SHIFT + PRINT: Does the same as PRINT, it screenshots the whole screen rather than a defined area of the screen (PRINT is: FN + INSERT).

CTRL + SHIFT + T: opens a new tab on browsers just like CTRL + T, rather than restoring a closed tab.

I tried to reconfigure the keyboard, edit shortcuts in settings and restore default shortcuts, nothing worked.

This issue is similar to this unanswered one: Why isn't my 'Shift' key working in shortcuts on Ubuntu 18.10?

And I figured out that with the right `SHIFT`, those combinations work.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
