Suspend closes applications and brings me to login

ca flag

When I suspend my desktop, I am almost immediately brought to the login page, and when I log back in, my applications have been shut down. Potentially related: powering off brings me to the login page before shutting down.

I am on Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS.

Look at `sudo journalctl --since="-15 minutes"` (adjust the "`15`" to cover the beginning of the shutdown). Read `man journalctl sudo`.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
