Fsearch can't add external drives to index

kr flag

I have two external drives that hold files I want to be able to access from both Windows and Ubuntu.

The drives are fat32 format and I can access them read-write and so on from both file explorer in Windows and dolphin in Ubuntu.

I've installed Fsearch for finding files faster in Ubuntu (like everything for Windows) but when I try to add them to the index through the folder mnt in fsearch I get

could not read the contents of mnt error opening directory /mnt: permission denied

I can add the bottom folders mnt and media. But fsearch cant access the files I am looking for.

I have read and write permission in Dolphin, so why not fsearch?

Is FSearch a snap? If so you have to enable additional permission. Snaps are confined by default.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
