Can't change resolution in Ubuntu

au flag

i recently installed Ubuntu on my computer. and i'm having trouble to change resolution after installing Nvidia Driver. my monitor can reach 1280x1024 and this option isn't available in display settings. i tried adding it using xranr --addmode but it gave me "Bad Match" error.

X Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
Major opcode of failed request: 140 (RANDR)
Minor opcode of failed request: 18 (RRAddOutputMode)
Serial number of failed request: 39
Current serial number in output stream: 40

in Windows i had no issue with this resolution. that's my xrandr:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
