First what version of Ubuntu did you install? Is this dual boot or only Ubuntu? What error message or symptom do you have? You need to give a lot more info if you want any help.

I am installing ubuntu 20.04.4, in single boot, it does not give me errors, but when it asks me to restart the pc, I reboot and remove the usb key, but the pc does not find any OS telling me no bootable device

Maybe you installed the MBR by accident on the USB drive?

I don't know, maybe now I try to redo everything with a different version of ubuntu, because I have already tried 5 times, also changing the priorities in the bios, if you have any advice I gladly accept them I'm a newbie

"*the computer does not find any OS*" is too vague to offer useful advice. Your question could be answerable if it clearly described what *does* happen during the boot. For example, if you don't see a POST or Manufacturer logo, that would suggest a hardware problem unrelated to Ubuntu.

UEFI or BIOS system? Almost all systems since 2012 are UEFI, even if vendor refers to BIOS. UEFI or BIOS install? And then is system set to default boot in that mode? What brand/model system. Some like HP like to see "Windows Boot Manager" which we can make that description actually boot Ubuntu. Please copy & paste the pastebin link to the Bootinfo summary report ( do not post report), do not run the auto fix till reviewed.Lets see details, use ppa version with your USB installer (2nd option) or any working install, not Boot-Repair ISO https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Boot-Repair

Does this answer your question? [Boot partition missing? Can't boot into Ubuntu anymore. Does it have to do with GRUB or Boot partition or similar?](https://askubuntu.com/questions/1296817/boot-partition-missing-cant-boot-into-ubuntu-anymore-does-it-have-to-do-with)

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
