the config file for keyboard keypress in lxqt gets overwritten, how to keep my settings?

pr flag

I'd like to have the sensitivity of my keypress somewhat higher than the default being used in the LXQT of Lubuntu, you can go to the GUI here:

lxqt-config-input

But when I change it, it changes back after logout. I've tried setting it manually in:

~/.config/lxqt/session.conf

but it seems not to registrer the new settings when I change them to:

[Keyboard]
beep=false
delay=50
interval=60
layout=dk
model=pc105
numlock=false
variant=nodeadkeys

and save

How do I keep my settings - or, failing that, restart some lxqt program so that the new settings gets actived (the same way when you use the GUI and press 'Apply')

thank you,

System: Lubuntu 20.04 with i3wm

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
