USB3 not working with Ubuntu Server 20.04 on a Gigabyte Brix GB-BLPD-5005

ye flag

USB3 seems not to work on a Ubuntu Server 20.04 running on a Gigabyte Brix GB-BLPD-5005 computer.

The computer has three 3.1/3.2 Gen 1 connectors. But when I connect a USB3 device and run lsusb -v, I get for the specific device:

bcdUSB 2.0

I checked the BIOS and tried to follow: https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/72625/why-is-usb-not-working-in-linux-when-it-works-in-uefi-bios

But only the xHCI handoff option seems to be available and is already enabled.

Disable UEFI and change all boot options to "Legacy Only" is also not possible (available).

Does anyone know another way to make USB3 available on this system?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
