Plymouth, SDDM and TTY, all use 4K even after setting the resolution to 1440p in settings. (Everything switches to 1440p after logging in)

I have a 1440p monitor but, for some reason, it supports 4K which looks terrible given it's not a native resolution. On Windows, it correctly recognized 1440p as the "Recommended" resolution and switched to it without issues. However, on Ubuntu, I had to select 1440p in settings and that changed the resolution perfectly for everything and all apps except for Plymouth, SDDM and TTY. When my PC is booting, right after the GRUB menu disappears, my display switches to 4K and it looks horrible.

I have tried all combinations of different values in /etc/default/grub but none of those worked except for when I set GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="nomodeset". This fixes the resolution issue but starts everything in "Safe Mode" which disable all the animations and even Plymouth loading animation.

FWIW, I don't use an Nvidia card nor do I have a graphics card. I have an Intel Core i5-12600K 12th Gen CPU and I use the integrated GPU that comes with it.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
