Ubuntu Server | Kernel panic - not syncing | after Upgrading | how do i get my server back on?

ae flag

A couple weeks back, I tried upgrading my Ubuntu Server (do-release-upgrade) via ssh on the go.

The Upgrade failed first everything still worked, but after a restart the server did not start anymore. I got home, hooked up a display and got this instead of booting.

The old Kernel (via the advanced options in grub) won't boot eihter.

I don't really know how to fix kernel panic, every time I had kernel panic before (on raspberryian or something) i just ditched everything and reinstalled.

What should I do? And how do i even get to the console?

You have not said upgrade what to what, that could matter. In any case an upgrade fail like this usually means a fresh install.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
