I have this strange problem with davinci resolve and every version of Ubuntu after 21.04.
I know that this program is not officially supported on Ubuntu but maybe the problem is simple. The program installs fine, I convert videos to DNxHD format (.mov).
Same videos are recognized on same version (18x) of Davinci Resolve on Fedora and Arch based distros but not on Ubuntu. Same problem on 21.04 and 21.10.
It worked for a few weeks on 22.04 as it should and then without any obvious reason, all converted videos are just black. Not recognized by the program. I copy the exactly same video file on Fedora and use it with the same free version of the program and everything is ok. I am really sad I can't use Ubuntu because of this problem.
I tried installing full ffmpeg, gstreamer codecs etc. Nothing works. Also for the few weeks it worked on 22.04 I haven't done anything. It was just working on a fresh 22.04 installation. Does anybody has this problem? Any solutions?
When I start the app from the terminal, I get this:
