I want to allow windows users to edit a NTFS drive mounted and shared on my Ubuntu 20.10

in flag

I have mounted my external drive using

mount -o rw,umask=0,gid=users /dev/sda1 /media/usb

And I have given all users rwx permissions

chmod -R +rwxrwxrwx /media/usb

I shared it using Nautilus Sharing and checked the boxes for Allow others to create and delete files and Guest access

But still users on other windows machines cannot edit/add files to the share. How can I mount and share it in a way that it can be used by other users on my network?

The following link allowed me to share using samba but it's password protected. I guess it's better than nothing but I wanted all users to be able to read and write without a password: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/How%20to%20Create%20a%20Network%20Share%20Via%20Samba%20Via%20CLI%20(Command-line%20interface/Linux%20Terminal)%20-%20Uncomplicated,%20Simple%20and%20Brief%20Way!

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
