How can you add memmap to bootable live USB of Ubuntu?

io flag

1. On a PC with Ubuntu 22.04LTS installed on its hard drive, i have etc/default/grub. with the following line: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash memmap=16K$0x0000000B4018000,16K$0x0000000B2018000"

BUT..

2. I try to replicate that line using an Ubuntu live USB flashdrive. And there is no etc/defaut/grub , flashdrive only has boot/grub/grub.cfg and its contents are completely different:

*#pendrivelinux.com
set timeout=10
set default=0
menuentry "Run Ubuntu Live ISO" {
loopback loop /ubuntu.iso
linux (loop)/casper/vmlinuz boot=casper iso-scan/filename=/ubuntu.iso splash --
initrd (loop)/casper/initrd
}*

So i want to know, HOW DO I ADD A MEMMAP LINE IN A BOOTABLE LIVE USB FLASHDRIVE FOR UBUNTU?

where do i place the memmap line? is there an example to follow?

I have been searching on google for hours trying to make this work on a bootable USB live flashdrive and so far i found no solution to this problem.

THANKS

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
