Change GUI resolution for Ubuntu on WSL2 on Windows 11

kh flag

The GUI support for Ubuntu on Windows is absolutely fantastic! The resolution of the GUI windows is one area, though, where I do have some issues. For instance, when I launch Octave, all the icons and labels look a little bit too small in my opinion. I've included a screenshot.

I already tried xrandr unfortunately to no avail (I'm using 22.04 LTS, but also tried it on 20.04 LTS -- does not work for both versions).

Is there any workaround?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
