LibreOffice Writer: Automatic Interpretation of Hyperlink Text from URL

in flag

One of the features I really like in Google Docs and some text editors (like MarkText) is their automatic interpretation of the text for a hyperlink.

You paste a URL into the document, and the editor automatically interprets a suitable hyperlink text from the url.

For example, if I paste this link into Google docs: https://github.com/garrettj403/SciencePlots

Google Docs allows you to replace the hyperlink text with its interpretation:

GitHub - garrettj403/SciencePlots: Matplotlib styles for scientific plotting

Does LibreOffice have a feature like this? Is there an extension that provides a feature like this?

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
