Soundcard unloaded

ky flag

I cant play any sound on Ubuntu. Its not hardware related as everything is working on a parallel Windows installation... Probably its because I played around setting up an icecast server and in the process I accidentally removed a wrong pulseaudio module. Sadly I didnt realize immediatly and now I dont know which one I removed. How can I get the sound back?

You've not mentioned what Ubuntu product you're using, nor what release. Did you remove a package? (*if so your command history, or `apt` package history will tell you what you removed*), or just unload a module (*command history should tell you*), so have you look in logs for your *unstated* Ubuntu product/release, as those details will be easiest to reverse whatever you did.

Im using Ubuntu 20.04.5 LTS. I unloaded a module but I did it by indicating the module number... so I dont know which one it was :(
I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
