Low FPS with i7 EVO (12th gen)

cn flag

I have installed Ubuntu 22.10 on a Huawei Matebook Pro X 2022 and I am having issues with the gnome shell running at really low FPS and glitching, screen blinking black, sometimes green, sometimes being grainy etc but always less than 1 FPS.

When booting up the live USB with safe grapics option the gnome shell is smooth as butter though, so I suspect this is a driver issue?

How do I run Ubuntu in safe graphics mode after installation? Secondly, how do I update the intel drivers?

Thank you kindly in advance, n00t / Jardar

I was able to enter recovery mode and boot from there, gnome shell was running smoothly but obviously I don't have any animations nor did any of the gestures work so failsafe graphics is not really an option here.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
