Can't get chrome to use the specified proxy settings

mk flag

I'm trying to make my chrome browser use the proxy settings 10.23.201.11:3128 .

When I run the command google-chrome --proxy-server=http://10.23.201.11:3128 I get the following errors:

MESA-INTEL: warning: Performance support disabled, consider sysctl dev.i915.perf_stream_paranoid=0

libva error: vaGetDriverNameByIndex() failed with unknown libva error, driver_name = (null)

How can I solve this?

UPDATE:

I've run the command consider sysctl dev.i915.perf_stream_paranoid=0 as instructed in the first error message and got the following response:

dev.i915.perf_stream_paranoid = 0

After this, I tried to run the command google-chrome --proxy-server=http://10.23.201.11:3128 once again but the second error message (libva) re-appeared again.

I don't know about the proxy stuff, or the libva error. But FWIW, do you mean you ran the command `sudo sysctl dev.i915.perf_stream_paranoid=0`? I think it does require `sudo`, but there is no `consider` command....

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
