Disk image mounter defaults to read-only

tc flag

when I try to mount a LUKS encrypted volume in the disks GUI it defaults to "Setup read only loop device". Also, when I open an image file from the file manger I get prompted for the password but there is no option to override this read-only default, which is inconvenient since you have to go through the Disks app. Is there a way to change the default behaviour of the disk image mounter to writeable please? Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
