Adding RST after Ubuntu install

cm flag

I have a new PC that will only run Ubuntu Desktop (no Windows). When I installed Ubuntu Desktop I did not have RST enabled at the BIOS. After installation of the O/S, I later turned on Intel RST at the BIOS and built a RAID5 volume using 4 HDDs at the BIOS level. After I reboot, Ubuntu sees the 4 HDDs as single RST drives, not as one single RST Raid5 drive. I assume I am missing the RST drivers, but cannot find a way to download or activate the RST driver. I have read articles where it show that Ubuntu will recognize RST at installation time, but cannot find anything about adding RST post installation.

CPU Intel I9-12900k MSI MEG Z690 Unify-X AMI BIOS 7D28vA7 (most current at time of posting) Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS (Desktop)

Even if I am adding new disks to the system? It seems odd that to add RAID after the o/s install I have to reload the o/s. I will reload the o/s in a few days with Raid configured at the hardware/bios layer prior to the install and see if that happens. Is it possible that hardware raid5 is not supported by the o/s?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
