Ubuntu 20.04 Static sound from monitor

I have a Samsung C24F390FHU monitor connected to my laptop via HDMI cable. Monitor also has an audio output, but it doesn't work.

There is constant static and buzzing sound coming from the monitor. It increases in certain cases (e.x. when opening a new tap in firefox or when a video loads...). Is there an option to remove the sound?

Setting the volume to 0, on the laptop or on the monitor itself, doesn't work.

pulseaudio -k

also doesn't stop the sound. Adding options snd-hda-intel power_save=0 power_save_controller=N to /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf also doesn't help.

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
