Bad video and audio performance in all media players

cd flag

I am having trouble playing any video files on my desktop computer running Pop!_OS.

I have managed to get VLC to play audio at the correct time, but the video is delayed. YouTube videos start but freeze at about a second into the video.

Output from inxi -Fxz:

You can check if the issue exists in Ubuntu and ask a new question. Pop OS is not supported in this site.

Great thank you, I will try that.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
