ubuntu login is asking for password

tk flag

I have ubuntu 18 in which I want to login without a password. I did the following:

  1. In settings->users, I enabled automatic login.

  2. In settings -> privacy -> screen lock: blank screen set to never. disabled everything under the screen lock such as "automatic screen lock", "lock screen on suspend", "show notification on lock screen". Additionally in the power option I have set automatic suspend to off, blank screen and dim screen when inactive to never.

  3. In the dconf, I did org/gnome/desktop/lockdown/disable-lock-screen ---> on org/gnome/desktop/screensaver/ubuntu-lock-on-suspend ---> off

After these the system is not asking for password for a while but then after 4-5 days the system again asks for password to login. Please suggest on what can be done. I never want the system to ask password for logging in.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
