Accidentally create partition on existing /dev/sdb member of LV (root)

ru flag

I want to extend my drive on virtual machine Ubuntu running on Esxi. I add 150G on existing disk, not attach new disk to the vm. And than power on the VM and start execute fdisk command I create new partition on fdisk and than reboot the ubuntu. On booting process we enter the rescue mode because the system can't find the LV for root. After we doing check from the console log, we relize that /dev/sdb is already used and member of LV with size 200G. But we check on fdisk the /dev/sdb not have partition and the size is 350G. I realize this after check on pvdisplay and vgdisplay outpus as our pre-check. Can I recover the overwrite disk? And can disk used without partition? Or can I take my data from the vmdk?

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
