Virtual Sink not working Ubuntu (Mate) 22.04.1

si flag

I've found Virtual Sink to be a great solution to run Teamviewer on remote terminals, since when there's nothing plugged into the jack it won't output even virtually. However after upgrading these with a clean install of 22.04.1, both are no longer passing audio with this trick.

In this case I've got Ubuntu Mate 22.04.1LTS (Kernel Linux 5.15.0-1021-raspi aarch64) running on a couple Rasberry Pi's at some stations for air monitoring.

With the pulseaudio command I do see the Daemon is running, but a code: pa_pid_file_create() failed.

I tried a solution from another post: rm ~/.config/pulse/* and reboot to rebuild, but no effect.

I see there was some changes in the audio engine perhaps, any ideas or other solutions?

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
